TIPS FOR REGISTRATION

PlayFootball has been updated and there are a few glitches still in the system. To help you when registering, here are a few tips from Newcastle Football:

• Use a computer: While you can use your phone, the PlayFootball system works much better on a computer. If possible, complete your registration on a desktop or laptop for a smoother experience.
• Claiming PlayFootball Account: If you log into your PlayFootball account after registering for a product and receive a new FFA number starting with 900 and cannot see your registration this is classified as a ‘Ghost Account’. As a work around, you need to follow the following steps on linking your current FFA number to this account by adding yourself like you would a partner/child à 2025 Registration System - Participant - How to Invite a Family Member : playfootball

• Contact address issue: When entering addresses use the prompted address when possible once you start typing
• Emergency Contact Issue: If you get stuck entering emergency contact details, don’t worry. A common solution is to press Back, then go back into the section to try again. This should resolve the issue.
• Entry or junior issue: may find the price shows up as the fee for a U12–U18-year-old. Continue through the registration process and at checkout the correct fees will be shown. 
• 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲: When you reach the last page, if it won’t let you confirm and pay: Go back one page. Double-check that you’ve selected a form of identification. Without this, the system won’t allow you to proceed to the payment screen. If you cannot click the SUBMIT AND PAY button, it will likely be a field that was missed. Go back and check for missing fields. 
• 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 Fail 𝗜𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲: 08/02/25. The bug may have been fixed by PlayFootball, but recent attempts using the Google Chrome browser have been successful. This is after many previous attempts trying different things beforehand.
