Grading Days for U10 – U18 – updated 19/2/21

Dear Kotara South Tigers,

Thank you to everyone who has registered for season 2021, we are super excited to be moving into bringing teams together in the next couple of weeks! This is a great time for players and parents alike to meet, to welcome new members into the club, to catch up with friends, and to get into some football. 

We will also be running a boot swap so if you have any boots in reasonable condition that you would like to donate please bring them along and maybe find a replacement pair to take home for free!.

Please keep an eye on our facebook page, website and teamapp for any updates, particular if weather might be an issue. 

Grading Days are scheduled for players in U10 – U18 Mixed teams and U12-U18 Girls teams:

Sunday 7th February:
Mixed teams U10 to U16

Tuesday 9th February:
Mixed teams U17 – U18

Sunday 14th February:
Girls teams U12 to U18
Any players unable to attend on 7th February
Any age groups that require further grading of individuals and/or teams

Miniroos Organisation Day will be on Sunday 14th February:
Mixed U6 to U9 teams
Girls U6 to U11 teams
More detailed information including the schedule will be posted soon

Location: Nesbitt Park

Times: Please arrive on time as players will be organised with bibs and numbers prior to grading.

Sunday 7th February:
– 7:30am – Set up the grading fields (We need some parent volunteers to come early to help please :-))
– 8:15am – U10
– 9:15am – U11
– 10:15am – U12
– 11:15am – U13
– 12:15pm – U14
– 1:15pm – U15
– 2:15pm – U16
– 3:30pm – Packup (Volunteers from U16s please :-))

Tuesday 9th February:
– 5:15pm – U17 and U18 both arrive 
– 6:30pm – Packup

What to bring/wear: SHIN PADS are compulsory; football boots; drink bottle; sunscreen; hat and insect repellant.

Grading Process: Each age group will be given a bib and number and then have an opportunity to run through some drills, skills assessment and gameplay situations. Our Grading team have a wealth of experience as graders, coaches and players and will make it fun and relevant for the players. It’ll be a long day for them so please thank them when you can. The second grading day is likely to be required to finalise teams in some age groups. If your age group does not require the second grading day you will be advised.

It is important for parents and spectators to keep separate from the grading process so that players are free to do their thing. Please stay at the park during grading, there will be club committee members present to speak about the season ahead and to answer any questions you may have.

Covid Safety Plan: Under our Covid Safety Plan as a Community Sporting Organisation we are able to hold outdoor gatherings of more than 100 people, providing we adhere to requirements to where possible maintain physical distancing of 1.5m, follow hygiene guidelines, and to keep a record of attendance.

We have a QR code linked to the ServiceNSW App that we will require all parents and spectators to use to register your presence. During the season we will not be required to register all attendance at our fixtures PROVIDING that all club members (parents included) have registered on PlayFootball. The package to do this under is labelled “volunteer”. Please refer to the Registration guide on our website for further details.

Can’t make it along?: If you are unable to attend the grading day for any reason don’t worry, we will be able to make alternative arrangements. Please email to info@ksjfc.org if this is the case.
