FFA suspension of grassroots football until 14th April 2020

Dear players, parents and members,

As per the email sent to all club members on 18th March, Football Federation Australia have suspended all football activities including matches, training and club meetings. The suspension takes effect from 12:00am Wednesday 18th March until 14th April 2020. It is unclear what steps will be taken from then onwards. This will depend on the Covid-19 pandemic response that we are required to follow at that time.

This decision will understandably have led to various feelings perhaps including disappointment mixed with some relief that we have more certainty.

FFA will communicate with the football community in the lead up to April 14 about what is to follow,

Please continue to care for your community and the vulnerable around you, with appropriate social distancing and isolation measures the course of the Covid-19 pandemic can be slowed and many lives saved,

Please contact the club: executive@ksjfc.org if needed. We will communicate any updates that are received ASAP.

Regarding registrations we ask that these be maintained at this stage. Teams have been formed based on the registrations received to date. Until a definite decision is made about the viability of the season it will help organisationally if registrations stay unchanged at this stage.
